Hartford police say when they responded to a shooting on Vine Street Monday afternoon, they found a victim outside, suffering gunshot wounds, and a suspect inside, taking a shower. Police say they found a crime scene inside the building. The victim outside had been shot in the thigh and lower torso.
The victim is listed in critical but stable condition after surgery. Police arrested 22-year-old Arnold Gayle,Jr. of Grandview Terrace on charges of attempted murder, assault and weapons charges.
